Volunteer Issues Interest Group

Co-Chairs: Keith Conrad, Jerold M. Rothstein

The Volunteer Issues Interest Group was created to bring together hospice palliative care volunteers, volunteer services managers and trainers and those with an interest in issues related to hospice palliative care volunteers. The purpose of the meetings is to foster communication and collaboration, provide a forum for networking and an opportunity to share resources. The Interest Group has met a number of times over the years, corresponding to the annual meetings of the CHPCA, and the minutes of the most recent meetings can be found below.

The CHPCA is pleased to announce the creation of List Serves for the CHPCA Interest Groups. These List Serves will provide, at no-cost, an opportunity to share ideas, concerns, proposals, assessment tools, effective interventions, educational opportunities, etc. with others working in hospice palliative care. This is not a real time chat line, but a place to post messages and receive replies.

To join one of the List Serves, please send a e-mail request to Cheryl Spencer. Please make sure you indicate which group you would like to join.
