Hospice Scarborough, VON

More Information

Started in 1995, VON Hospice Scarborough has been providing in-home hospice, palliative care and bereavement services to the Scarborough Community.  We provide continuity of care, through emotional, respite, bereavement, and spiritual support for individuals living with a progressive, life-threatening illness and their families.  There is no fee for our services.

What are your admission/referral criteria?

Must have a life threatening illness, be over the age of eighteen, and live in the Scarborough area.

How would you answer the following question if asked by a patient, client, resident, and/or family?

"What can you do for me?"

We provide one-to-one companionship, emotional support and respite, as well as bereavement one-on-one or in a group. We also provide continuing education and can sometimes offer transportation.
