Cowichan Valley Hospice Society

More Information

Whether you are living with an advancing illness, caring for someone at the end of life or grieving a loss, Hospice can help wherever hospice support is required within the Cowichan Regional District.

What are your admission/referral criteria?

  • Terminal illness, usually within a 1 year prognosis
  • Grief, loss due to death
  • Family and other caregivers for living with advancing illness

How would you answer the following question if asked by a patient, client, resident, and/or family?

"What can you do for me?"

Cowichan Valley Hospice offers compassionate support services to the dying and bereaved, their families and friends, with sensitivity to their culture, values, and beliefs. We can provide one on one or group emotional support and information for those living with advancing illness, their caregivers, and for the bereaved, including around the clock support for the last hours of life. Care is provided by trained volunteers and staff.
