More Information

What are your admission/referral criteria?

People of all ages who are living with a life-threatening illness, dying or bereaved in Lanark County. Family members and friends are also eligible. Anyone can refer to our service with no charged fee.

How would you answer the following question if asked by a patient, client, resident and/or family?

"What can you do for me?"

Trained volunteers are available to provide caregiver respite; companionship and practical support; basic comfort measures; friendly visiting; run errands; pick up prescriptions; and to provide transportation to doctor's visits. Overnight sitting is also available. In addition, we offer Individual and Group Grief Support as well as a Grief Art Therapy Program. The community is welcome to stop by and access some of our free resources as well as books, CDs and DVDs that can be signed out.
