COHA’s trained volunteers are compassionate to the unique circumstances and needs on one’s journey through illness and end-of-life. Whether for self, family or friend, our supportive care volunteers provide encouragement, support and companionship with their listening ears, warm smiles, and caring touch. Volunteers may participate in favorite activities, read, journal, play a game, watch a show or simply being a presence as they provide practical support to you and your family during life’s difficult transitions.
