Board Member Roles
: Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Past Chair and Member at Large.  The key responsibilities of a board member are fulfilling the mission and vision of AHPCA, through strategic planning and accountable use of resources.  Board members also act in accordance to the Vision, Values, and strategic direction of the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA)

A few of merits of being board member for AHPCA are:

  • An opportunity to gain experience and get involved in board work and planning in a compassionate, non-threatening environment

  • An opportunity to participate in a honourable community service
